Shades of Adolosence
Read this one in a breeze!
I thank the author for reach out with a copy in lieu of an unbiased review.
One mellifluously recited coming of age story.
Full marks up front to Harshita Sharma for tracing the shades in a scrupulous style. Virtuous Samay and his thought process is spotless. Goes about his teenage life with his buddies, Amir and Maddy, the rich man in the circle.
Fickle is the nature of adolescent friendships and brittle are the thoughts that racket your mind. It is mostly transient. You eye it doe-eyed. Everything seems serene.
Only that it is not so.
There are certain things that reached my billboard whilst writing this review. Pardon my Spanish, but I said "honest review".
- Uno. The author has had a stronghold in vocab. Richness of the words, used to roll out the story is up to the mark! I hope there is more depth in her future novels to her creative writing style dexterity than this one leaving out grammatical shortcomings.
- Dos. The book turns its pages itself. Fluency is what I demand and this work didn't disappoint me on that aspect.
- Tres. Fabrication of anecdotes are innocent and you can relate to it. The ways they choose for themselves and how Amir develops a bond with our protagonist. The windfall love that walks in and changes the dynamics of time allocation. All religions preach the same writings. And they are nothing but a pathway to peace.
- Quatro y finale I did not expect this. One point it all flows like a river. And you crash into an ending that leaves you crestfallen.
You give out what you have.

Says more about Sam than Sally. "
